WHAT DOES AN AUTHORIZED TRANSLATOR MEAN? 

This means that the translator passed a special certification at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, passed a written or oral language examination, depending on the specialization of the translator, and received an authorization that gives the right to carry out translations for a number of institutions: This status is granted to a specialist certified by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova. Staff members take written or oral examinations, depending on qualifications. After successful testing, the specialist gets the right to make any translations. Authorized translation is nothing more than the official translation of a text document (message), which is performed by a qualified employee of our translation agency. Gives the right to make translations to a number of institutions:
  • Supreme Council of Magistracy;
  • Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova;
  • Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova;
  • Criminal prosecution authorities;
  • Department of Penitentiary Institutions;
  • Bodies of the prosecutor’s office;
  • Courts;
  • Bailiffs;
  • Notaries public as well as private.
After completing the task, the translator applies his/ her signature. The document is certified by the seal, thereby confirming that the work was performed qualitatively, without errors. An authorized translation can be certified by a notary, then the document becomes a notarized translation. Important information! If you choose the second option (with the participation of a notary), you must provide the original. According to the law of the Republic of Moldova, copies are not accepted.

THE LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR WHICH OFFICIAL TRANSLATION WILL BE REQUIRED IS QUITE EXTENSIVE. HERE IS A LIST OF THE MOST COMMON:

  • certificates of birth, marriage or divorce, death,
  • passports, driver’s license, other personal documents,
  • diplomas and employment records,
  • court orders and notices, other legal documents,
  • constituent documents of all forms of ownership of legal entities, contracts.

If you want to receive an authorized translation with notarization, the translated documents must be provided only in the original and meet the requirements for notarization established in the Republic of Moldova.
